“After careers in the mines and in Management in Perth, we decided to relocate to Albury, New South Wales. We were actually loyal customers of Ovenu when we were living in Perth and were always thrilled with the results, but when we moved to Albury, there were no Ovenu operators in the area. Not too disheartened, we realised something; if we needed the service, then so must many other residents of our local area. Why not run a Franchise ourselves?! Our training was brilliant and we had so much fun with Pedro, State Manager in Victoria, as he taught us about all aspects of running a successful Ovenu Franchise. The Business Launch Package set up by Janet & the rest of Ovenu Head Quarters was already generating work for us as soon as our training week had finished. With the help of the whole Ovenu Head Office team, as well as some self promotion, by the end of our 3rd week of training, we were fully booked for the next month – that says it all really!
It was the perfect move for us. The rumours about the earning potential are absolutely true! We have a much better quality of life and get to spend much more time together than we used to. Running our own diaries is a dream come true as it means we can tie in work with social plans without any clashing and the fact that we determine our own success is so much more exciting to wake up to than the same old boring routine. No more FIFO for Jamie and no more stroppy customers for Gina!
